We at Regina Tours are proud to be involved with World Youth Day. This will be our 8th WYD and we invite the youth and young adults to gather with our Holy Father Pope Leo XIV as we join thousands of people from around the world. World Youth Day will strengthen our faith, understanding and commitment to Christ, His Church and one another.
We invite youth and young adult leaders to join us on this exciting World Youth Day to Seoul as we take part in the Catechesis Sessions, prayer,
worship and festivities.

Tour Highlights

  • Walk the Pilgrimage Route along Myeongdong Cathedral, the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Bukchon Hanok
    Village, and Insadong Street
  • Visit Gyeongbok Palace and important pilgrimage sites connected to the Korean Martyrs, including the Beatification site,
    Seosomun Martyrs’ Shrine, and Yakhyeon Catholic Church
  • Free time to visit the Namdaemun Market or Myeongdong Street
  • Opening Ceremonies of WYD, uniting pilgrims from around the world in prayer, music, and celebration
  • Visit the Mirinai Shrine in Anseong, the Eucharistic Adoration Chapel, St. Joseph Church, the Tomb of the Nameless, the Way of the Rosary, Stations of the Cross, and St. Andrew Kim Dae-Geon Memorial Church
  • Participation in WYD events, including the Youth Festival with music and cultural presentations, and the solemn Via Crucis
  • Attend the Prayer Vigil with the Holy Father
  • Attend the Mass of Sending celebrated by the Holy Father, joined by bishops, priests, and pilgrims from around the world

Itinerary

August 1: Flight to Seoul (not included in package price)

Departure on overnight international flight to South Korea as the pilgrimage to World Youth Day begins.

August 2: Arrival in Seoul

Arrival in Seoul, airport formalities, and transfer to the hotel. Time permitting, enjoy a walking pilgrimage along key sections of the Pilgrimage Route, including Myeongdong Cathedral, the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Bukchon Hanok Village, and Insadong Street. After lunch, visit Gyeongbok Palace and important pilgrimage sites connected to the Korean Martyrs, including the Beatification site, Seosomun Martyrs’ Shrine, and Yakhyeon Catholic Church. Optional free time at Namdaemun Market or Myeongdong Street. Dinner and overnight in Seoul. (D)

August 3: World Youth Day – Opening Ceremonies

Attend the official Opening Ceremonies of World Youth Day, uniting pilgrims from around the world in prayer, music, and celebration. The afternoon is dedicated to World Youth Day activities. Overnight in Seoul. (B)

Egypt, Luxor, Karnak temple

August 4: World Youth Day / Mirinai Shrine

Morning participation in World Youth Day events. Later, travel to Anseong to visit the Mirinai Shrine, one of Korea’s most important Catholic pilgrimage sites. Visits include the Eucharistic Adoration Chapel, St. Joseph Church, the Tomb of the Nameless, the Way of the Rosary, Stations of the Cross, and St. Andrew Kim Dae-Geon Memorial Church. Return to Seoul for additional World Youth Day events. Overnight in Seoul. (B)

August 5: World Youth Day – Arrival of the Holy Father!

Full day of World Youth Day activities. In the evening, attend the Welcome Ceremony with the Holy Father, a deeply moving and historic celebration of faith with pilgrims from across the globe. Overnight in Seoul. (B)

August 6: World Youth Day

Participation in World Youth Day events, including the Youth Festival with music and cultural presentations, and the solemn Via Crucis (Way of the Cross). Overnight in Seoul. (B)

August 7: World Youth Day – Prayer Vigil

Join World Youth Day activities, including the Pilgrimage Walk. In the evening, participate in the Prayer Vigil with the Holy Father. Overnight in Seoul. (B)

August 8: World Youth Day – Mass of Sending

Attend the Mass of Sending celebrated by the Holy Father, joined by bishops, priests, and pilgrims from around the world. The Pope commissions the faithful to return home as witnesses to the Gospel. Additional World Youth Day events follow. Dinner and overnight in Seoul. (B/D)

August 9: Seoul / Departure for Home

Departure from Seoul for the return journey home (flight NOT included in this land only package), carrying home lasting memories, renewed faith, and friendships formed during World Youth Day. (B)

August 10: Departure flight home
