Itinerary

DAY 1: PARIS

Upon arrival in Paris, we are met and greeted by our assistant, and next board our deluxe coach to transfer to the river cruise port where we embark on the ship. We are immediately captivated by the beauty of France’s capital city as we commence our journey here in the city known as the “City of Lights”. After a welcome cocktail we enjoy our dinner on the ship. Join us for a cruise through Paris “by night” (depending on the water level). Overnight on the ship. (D)
Passengers are welcome to board the ship at 6:00 p.m.

DAY 2: PARIS

This morning, we enjoy a guided tour of the city. We visit the Cathedral of Notre-Dame, a stunning Gothic masterpiece that has stood as a symbol of faith and history for centuries. Next, walk to the nearby Sainte-Chapelle, a jewel of Gothic architecture known for its spectacular stained-glass windows. Continue your exploration at the Church of Saint Julien le Pauvre, one of the oldest churches in Paris, dating back to the 12th century. Today, it serves as a Melkite Greek Catholic church, offering a unique glimpse into Eastern Christian traditions within the heart of Paris. In the afternoon we visit the magnificent Palace of Versailles, the opulent residence of French kings and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its gardens. After the tour we return to our ship. DAY 3: PARIS / LE ROCHE - GUYON

We spend this morning sailing towards Le Roche-Guyon where we board our coach to the charming village of Giverny, where Claude Monet lived and worked from 1830 to 1926.We explore the enchanting flower garden and his home. Feel the enduring spirit of Impressionism in this beautifully preserved sanctuary before returning to the boat in Vernon by late afternoon. Overnight on the ship. (B/L/D)

DAY 4: HONFLEUR

In the afternoon we arrive in Honfleur where we board our coach to discover The Cote Fleurie. Our first stop is Deauville, a glamorous coastal city known for its elegance and iconic 1923 boardwalks. Then, we continue to the stunning Chateau du Breuil in the heart of Pays d’Auge, surrounded by lush greenery. Explore its rich architecture and visit its distillery to learn how Calvados is made, followed by a tasting. Return to the boat in Honfleur by coach. Overnight on the ship. (B/L/D)

DAY 5: HONFLEUR

Today we enjoy a full day guided tour of the Landing Beaches of Normandy. We start at Pointe du Hoc, a key site from the D-Day landings on June 6, 1944. Continue through Omaha Beach, Colleville-sur-Mer, and its American cemetery. After lunch, we head to Arromanches to explore the site of the battle and its famous artificial port. Visit Arromanches 360° to watch The Price of Liberty, a powerful film combining 1944 archival footage with present-day views. We return to Honfleur via Gold, Juno, and Sword Beaches, arriving in the early evening. Overnight on the ship. (B/L/D)

DAY 6: HONFLEUR / ROUEN

We spend our morning cruising towards Rouen. Upon arrival, we begin our guided walking tour of Rouen with a short stroll from the ship to the city’s historic center. We visit the magnificent Notre-Dame Cathedral, renowned for its intricate Gothic façade; the Old Market Square, where Joan of Arc was martyred in 1431; the Gros-Horloge, a 14th-century Gothic clock tower symbolizing the city’s rich heritage; and the modern Saint Joan of Arc Church, honoring the French heroine. We return to the ship on foot in the late afternoon. Overnight on the ship. (B/L/D)

DAY 7: ROUEN / LES ANDELYS

After morning sailing we arrive to the port in Les Andelys from where we walk to the Château Gaillard. We discover this ruined medieval castle and its gorgeous views overlooking the small city of Les Andelys and one of the loveliest bends in the Seine. After our hike and visit, we’ll return to the ship by coach. Tonight, we enjoy our farewell gala dinner. Overnight on the ship. (B/L/D)

DAY 8: PARIS

After breakfast we transfer to the airport for our flight back home. (B)
