First we start with a visit to Fatima, where Our Blessed Mother appeared to three shepherd children with her message of love and call to conversion. Continue north to Santiago de Compostella to El Camino, “The Way of St. James” and its beautiful Cathedral.

Itinerary

DAY 1 : NEW YORK/LISBON

We depart on an international overnight flight to Lisbon. Dinner and breakfast are served on board.

DAY 2 : LISBON/FATIMA

Upon arrival in Lisbon, we are greeted by our tour guide, and next board our deluxe motorcoach for a panoramic tour of the charming Portuguese capital. Then, we continue to Fatima with a stop in Santarem for a short visit and a Mass celebration. We arrive in Fatima in the late afternoon. Participate in the Rosary and the Candlelight Procession in the evening (if available). Dinner and overnight in Fatima. (D)

DAY 3 : FATIMA

After breakfast we discover the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima and sites where Our Lady appeared to the three shepherd children on May 13, 1917. The balance of the day at leisure for private reflection, prayer, and meditation. In the evening we participate in the Rosery and the Candlelight Procession (if available). Dinner and overnight in Fatima. (B/D)

DAY 4 : FATIMA

In the morning we visit Aljustrel, the birthplace of the “three little shepherds of Fatima”, and Valinhos where Our Lady appeared to the children again in 1917. Afternoon at leisure for private meditation, prayers, and reflection. After dinner we participate in the Rosary and the Candlelight Procession (if available). Dinner and overnight in Fatima. (B/D)

DAY 5 : FATIMA/COIMBRA/BRAGA/SANTIAGO de COMPOSTELA

Depart Fatima for Coimbra where we visit the Carmelite Monastery. Continue to Braga and Sameiro before arriving in Santiago de Compostela late in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Santiago de Compostela. (B/D)

DAY 6: SANTIAGO de COMPOSTELA

After breakfast enjoy a full day tour of the medieval city of Santiago de Compostela. We celebrate Mass at a local church, visit the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela and explore other historical landmarks of the city. Dinner and overnight in Santiago de Compostela. (B/D)

DAY 7: SANTIAGO de COMPOSTELA

A full day at leisure to explore the city on your own or take an optional tour to Pontevedra (at additional cost). Dinner and overnight in Santiago de Compostela. (B/D)

DAY 8: SANTIAGO de COMPOSTELA /PORTO/ NEW YORK

After breakfast, we transfer to Porto airport for our flight back home arriving the same day. (B)

NOTE:  The Rosary & the Candlelight Procession in Fatima are not daily during the winter (between December & March). Only on Saturday.
