We depart on our overnight international flight. Enjoy dinner and breakfast served aboard flight.
Day 2 Shannon/Galway
Arrive at Shannon airport, where our representative will meet the group and assist with boarding the motor coach for departure. Visit the Cliffs of Moher before continuing to Galway via the Burren Region. A panoramic tour of Galway City is a delight with its narrow streets, old stone and wooden shop fronts, good restaurants and busy pubs. Dinner and overnight. (B,D)
Day 3 Galway/Connemara/Westport
Today enjoy a tour of the Connemara Region, without a doubt, the wildest and the most romantic part of Ireland. The route takes us from Galway to the lake dotted centre of Connemara at Maam Cross. Visit the Marble Center, a marble factory in Connemara, to witness master craftsmen at work. Visit Kylemore Abbey, a gothic style castle, with its romantic but tragic story. Dinner and overnight in Westport. (B,D)
Day 4 Westport/Limerick/Knock
This morning depart Westport for Ballintubber Abbey built in 1216. Ballintubber Abbey is the only church in Ireland that was founded by an Irish King and still in use today. Continue to Knock, an important pilgrimage site. On the 21st August 1879, Our Lady, St. Joseph and St. John the Evangelist appeared at the south gable of Knock Parish Church. Travel to Bunratty and visit the Ballycasey workshops. This evening enjoy the Bunratty Castle with its entertainment and dinner reminiscent of a Medieval Banquet. Dinner and overnight (B,D)
Day 5 Highlights of the Ring of Kerry/Killarney
Depart for Kerry after breakfast. Enjoy the highlights of the ring of Kerry - Molls Gap & Ladies view Molls' Gap offers a magnificent view of Death Valley. Close by is the famous Ladies View with a different perspective of this magnificent countryside, including the 3 Lakes of Killarney surrounded by the Kerry Mountains. Continue for a visit to Muckross Abbey. Dinner and overnight in Killarney (B,D)
Day 6 Kerry/Cork/Killarney
This morning depart for Waterford. En route visit Blarney castle, an ancient stronghold of the McCarthy's, Lords of Muskerry. One of Ireland's oldest and most historic castles, Blarney Castle is famous for its Blarney stone. Free time for shopping in Blarney Woolen Mills. Return to Killarney for dinner and overnight. (B,D)
Day 7 Killarney/Wexford
Depart for Wexford and visit Saint Aidan's Cathedral constructed in 1843. Visit the Dunbrody Famine Ship. The SS Dunbrody is a full-scale replica of the original ship built in 1845 which carried thousands of emigrants from Ireland to North America over a period of thirty years. Dinner and overnight in Wexford. (B,D)
Day 8 Wexford/Glendalough/Dublin
This morning depart for Glendalough, where St. Kevin, son of the king of Leinster, founded a monastery in the 6th century. The monastic remains include a round tower, stone churches and decorated crosses. Continue to Dublin for balance at leisure. Dinner and overnight (B,D)
Day 9 Dublin
Enjoy a panoramic tour of Dublin: Trinity College, the Book of Kells, St. Patrick's Cathedral, the National Cathedral of Ireland and the National Museum on Kildare Street. The Kildare Street site is home to artifacts from Viking times alongside Celtic masterpieces and houses one of the largest collections of Bronze Age gold in the world. Dinner and overnight (B,D)
Day 10 Dublin/USA
After a final full Irish breakfast depart for Dublin Airport for the departure flight home. Arrive USA the same day.
