Day 1 New York, NY

Depart from a New York area airport. Enjoy dinner served on board overnight flight.

Day 2 Fatima

Arrive early morning in Lisbon where the group is met by our tour guide and transferred to Fatima. Enjoy the beautiful Portuguese scenery! En route to the hotel, visit Santarem to view the "Miracle of the Bleeding Host.” Arrive hotel for check-in and time to relax and freshen up. In late afternoon walk to the Basilica grounds and Capelinha for brief orientation tour. Dinner and overnight in Fatima. (B,D)

Day 3 Fatima

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, tour the holy places at the Shrine of Fatima, including the Basilica, with the tombs of the children; the Chapel of the Apparitions (Capelinha). Continue for a visit to the original homes of the children, the Fatima Church, and cemetery. See the location of the first angelic apparition to the children and take time to view the beautiful Portuguese countryside from this spot. Enjoy a special video presentation by the Consolata Fathers on the history of Fatima this evening. Dinner and overnight in Fatima. (B,D)

Day 4 Fatima

A full day at leisure to enjoy this peaceful setting or take an optional tour to Batalha and Alcobaca Monasteries and the picturesque fishing village of Nazare at a supplemental cost. Return to Fatima for dinner and overnight. (B,D)

Day 5Fatima/Coimbra/Braga/Santiago

Depart Fatima for Coimbra for a visit to the Carmelite Monastery where Sister Lucia still lived for many years prior to her death. Continue to Braga for a visit to Bom Jesus and the "Holy Mountain of Sameiro. Continue to Santiago for dinner and overnight in Santiago. (B,D)

Day 6 Santiago

After breakfast depart the hotel for a full day excursion to the medieval city of Santiago de Compostela. We celebrate Mass at the Cathedral of St. James and enjoy an orientation tour of the one of Europe's most spectacular basilicas. After visiting the cathedral, enjoy a stroll through the Plaza del Obradoiro (one of the most famous squares in Santiago), and explore this city's narrow streets filled with interesting shops and fascinating architecture. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7 Santiago

A full day at leisure to enjoy this beautiful city of St. James or take an optional tour to Pontevedra at supplemental cost. Upon arrival, enjoy an orientation tour of Pontevedra, a city that dates back to the Roman times. Visit the convent where Sr. Lucia spent time as a postulant and had a vision of the Blessed Mother requesting the 5 first Saturdays Devotion as well as a visit from Jesus as a very young child reminding Sr. Lucia of this request. Continue with a visit to the 16th century church Santa Maria la Mayor. Remainder of the day at leisure to explore this ancient city on your own. Return to Santiago for dinner and overnight. (B,D)

Day 8 Santiago/Porto/USA

Depart after breakfast for Porto, which Portugal's second largest city. Porto, sits among the Douro River along steep hills, is famous for its wine production. Depart for Porto's airport this morning. Same day arrival into the U.S.A.


In a peaceful countryside setting sits the beautiful village of Fatima. It is here Our Blessed Mother appeared to 3 shepherd children with her message of love and call to conversion. See this magnificent Marian Shrine which touches so many who visit before continuing to the medieval city of Santiago de Compostela. The old city of Santiago de Compostela and its grand cathedral are among the most beautiful medieval artifacts in all of Europe. Besides the visual beauty of the place, the atmosphere is charged with devotion and holiness. Millions of pilgrims who visit the shrine come with love and sincerity in their hearts. The presence of that love is still strongly felt at Santiago de Compostela.
